All SQ Label perpetual licenses come with 4 years of support from the date of the major version release.
Customers who purchase a license close to the release of a new version may qualify for a free upgrade to the latest release.

Major Upgrades Every 2 Years

A new major upgrade is released every 2 years, featuring:

• Compatibility updates with the latest systems

Customers upgrading within the current cycle can take advantage of a 50% discount on the new license price. Once the 4-year support period ends, updates and technical support will no longer be available for that version.

• Using unsupported versions after 4 years
  All SQ Label software editions based on perpetual licenses can still be used without restrictions, but they will no longer receive updates, security patches, improvements, or technical support.

Subscription-Based Licenses

For subscription-based products like SQ Label Automation or SQ Label Studio:

• Active subscriptions automatically grant access to the latest version.
• Regular security patches and feature updates are included.
• Technical support remains available as long as your subscription is active.

What Happens If You Don’t Upgrade

• For Perpetual License Holders
  Your current software will continue to function after the 4-year support period ends but will no longer receive system and security updates, feature improvements, or any technical assistance. If you choose to upgrade later, you will need to purchase a new license at full price instead of benefiting from the 50% upgrade discount.
• For Subscription License Holders
  As long as your subscription remains active, you will always have access to the latest version, updates, and full technical support without the need for additional upgrade purchases.
